Ian and his sister Gretchen were raised on their family’s fifth-generation farm in the Great Plains of Kansas, where they developed a strong connection to the land and a concern for its future. A graduate of Kansas State University with a knack for mechanics, Ian keeps the ship afloat, quite literally. He is diligent in implementing new technology to optimize and maintain high quality farming practices. When he isn’t working on the water, he enjoys water skiing, a good cigar, hunting, training his pup Rook, and spending time working on his fixer-upper house with his wife, Hannah, and son, Silas.

Gretchen Kelly

Co-Owner and CEO

With a love for agriculture, Gretchen obtained a bachelor’s degree in Food Science with a minor in Business from Kansas State University. She is ambitious in her work for the well-being of the shellfish industry. She and her husband, James, enjoy a good cup of coffee, reading, spending time outdoors, and doing just about anything to get a laugh out of their son, Macauley.
